Suspension solid-liquid drying separation is one of the import- ant process technologies in the field of separation engineering technology, widely used in chemical,pharmaceutical, mining and environmental protection industries. Among them, the wetproduction of various types of powder products, pharmaceutical intermediates,mineral processing products and sewage and solid waste treatment and other production processes, the traditional process of mechanical separation technology and thermal drying technology joint process, to achieve various types of wet operations of solid-liquid drying separation, in order to obtain dry powder products or clear liquid. Mechanical separation technology system is simple, low operating costs, but the theory and practice of solid-liquid separation limits exist, usually can not meet the process technology of solid-liquid separation requirements; further thermal drying separation, is faced with the problem of investment, energy consumption and cost is too high. According to statistics, thermal drying separa- tion has accounted for 17% of China's industrial energy consumption. At present, carbon neutral and carbon emission reduction background, the market urgently needs low-carbon energy-saving solid-liquid drying separation process technology.

Mechanical solid-liquid separation of solid products and then by thermal drying to achieve the depth of solid-liquid drying separation,under the conditions of the final drying of powder products with a certain rate of liquid content, the mechanical separation of the solid products of the water content of the water content of the thermal drying of the evaporation of the volume of water, the drying of the size of the model and the level of energy consumption is directly determined.That is to say, under the condition of certain liquid content rate of thermal dryer discharged products, fully reducing the liquid content rate of the dryer before feeding can significantly reduce the evaporated water of the dryer, and thus, reduce the model of the dryer, save investment and reduce the cost of energy consump- tion.

Taking municipal sludge drying as an example, when 50%moisture sludge is dried to 40% moisture compared to 80% moisture sludge dried to 40% 

moisture, the evaporated water volume of the dryer will be reduced by 73%, and the model specifications and evaporated water 

volume of the dryer will also drop sharply by 73%, which can solve the three major problems of high investment, 

energy consumption and operating costs of traditional drying operations.

The hot pressing drying and thermal drying combined process technology developed by our company uses the hot pressing 

drying process to fully reduce the moisture content of the dryer feed before entering the subsequent thermal dryer, 

and the whole system implements thermal energy management, which can achieve the same material drying process 

effect with the lowest investment, energy consumption and operating cost.

 

Finally, except for the separated solid material taking away part of the heat, there is no waste heat emission in the whole system,

 thereby achieving the purpose of deep solid-liquid drying separation of the suspension in a significantly low-carbon and 

energy-saving manner.
