The mechanical filters and multi-media filters are pretreatment equipment for water purification equipment. Their main function is to remove suspended solids and solid particles from water for pretreatment purposes.The tank material is various, such as: PE, rubber-lined steel, stainless steel etc.. And according to different filtering medium, the usage and function will be different too. Normally the filtering mediums are as followed: quartz sand, activated carbon, manganese sand, anthracite etc.. The filter can use only one filtering medium and also can use several mediums together. The main function is to remove the suspended solids, mechanical impurities, organics, the coloring mater, residual chlorine, iron ion etc., so that decrease the turbidity. And the filter size can be customized and it's easy to operation.
