The metal material of the cylinder body is of high strength and good plasticity, and can be welded with common structural steel Q235, and the cylinder of the large mill is made of 16Mn steel.
Every bin on the cylinder should have a grinding door (also known as Kong Men). Grinding door is convenient for personnel to enter, inserts for lining board, partition board, filled or emptied grinding media, and stop grinding mill inspection operation. The position of each bin should be staggered on both sides of the cylinder, and the centrifugal force generated by the gravity of the grinding gate. In order to ensure the strength of the cylinder, the shape of the grinding door is generally round, oval or round shape, so as to avoid the crack caused by the stress concentration and cause the damage of the cylinder.
Mill operation and stopped for a long time when the length of the cylinder is not the same, this is due to the different barrel temperature caused by thermal expansion and contraction caused by.
