Product Description

Mechanical filter press presses filter plates by gearing ,which is driven by motor the screw, which is driven by motor via gearbox. The pressing screw and lock nut are self-locked design, to secure the liability and stability while pressing. To avoid overheat or overload of the motor, electronic motor protector utilizes to control automatically.

Introduction
Mechanical compression filter press is a solid-liquid separation equipment that uses mechanical devices (such as screw jacks or screw mechanisms) to provide compression force. Its core feature is to replace hydraulic systems with mechanical locking, with a simple structure and easy maintenance.

Structure and Working principle
Compression mechanism: By driving a screw with a motor or manually operating a screw jack, the filter plate is compressed and locked to form a closed filter chamber.
Filtering process: The suspension passes through the filter cloth under pressure, and the solid is trapped to form a filter cake. The liquid is discharged through the filter plate.
Unloading method: After the mechanical release of the clamping device, the filter cake falls off by gravity or an auxiliary mechanism. Some models are equipped with a scraper to assist in unloading.
