Introduction to flotation machine
The flotation machine is suitable for the separation of non-ferrous and ferrous metals, and can also be used for the separation of non-metals such as coal fluorite and talc. The flotation machine has the following characteristics: large air suction volume and low power consumption. Each slot has the triple functions of air suction, slurry suction and flotation, forming a flotation circuit without any auxiliary equipment, and the configuration is level, which is convenient for process changes.
Working Principle
When the flotation machine is working, as the impeller rotates, the pulp in the tank is sucked from all sides through the bottom of the tank and from the lower end of the impeller to between the impeller blades. At the same time, the low-pressure air supplied by the blower also enters through the hollow shaft and the air distributor of the impeller. After the pulp and air are fully mixed between the blades, they are pushed upward from the periphery of the upper half of the impeller, and enter the entire tank after being stabilized and oriented by the stator. The bubbles rise to the foam stabilization zone, and after the enrichment process, the foam overflows from the overflow weir by gravity and enters the foam tank. Another part of the pulp flows to the lower part of the impeller, and then is stirred by the impeller and remixed to form mineralized bubbles. The remaining pulp flows to the next tank until it finally becomes tailings.
Use and Maintenance
1. The working capacity and working time of the flotation machine are determined by maintenance like other machines and are maintained for 3-4 months of work. The main parts of the normal operation are carefully checked, but the new flotation machine should be checked frequently in the first few months of work;
2. Only skilled personnel can carry out inspections.
3. In order to ensure that the wearing parts are replaced in time to reduce downtime, we must always keep a complete set of parts in the warehouse. According to different situations, the use date and reserve quantity of wearing parts are determined.
4. It must be guaranteed that some technical guidance and training are given to the flotation machine operator so that he is fully familiar with the machine.
