Product Description

1. Product introduction
Induction furnace is a kind of induction heating equipment with the highest heating efficiency, fastest speed, low energy consumption and environmental protection for metal materials. Induction furnace, also known as high frequency heater, high frequency induction heating equipment, high frequency induction heating device, high frequency heating power supply, high frequency electric furnace. High frequency welding machine, high cycle induction heating machine, high cycle induction heater (welder), etc., in addition, there are medium frequency induction heating equipment, ultra-high frequency induction heating equipment, etc. The application range is very wide.

2. How it works
The high frequency, high current flow is wound into a ring or other shaped heating coil (usually made of red copper pipe). Thus, a strong magnetic beam with instantaneous change of polarity is generated in the coil. The metal and other heated objects are placed in the coil, and the magnetic beam will be through the whole heated object. In the internal direction of the heated object and the heating current, a large eddy current will be generated. Because there is resistance in the object being heated, there will be a lot of Joule heat, which causes the temperature of the object to rise rapidly. To achieve the purpose of heating all metal materials.

3. Practical use
(1) Heat treatment: local or overall quenching, annealing, tempering, diathermy of various metals;
(2) Hot forming: whole forging, local forging, hot heading, hot rolling;
(3) Welding: all kinds of metal products brazing, all kinds of knife blades, saw blade sawtooth welding, steel pipe, copper pipe welding, allometal welding;

(5) Other applications of high frequency heater: semiconductor single crystal growth, thermal coordination, bottle mouth heat sealing, dental plaster skin heat sealing, powder coating, metal implantation plastic, etc.

4. Basic classification
Induction furnace can be divided into high frequency furnace, medium frequency furnace and power frequency furnace according to the frequency of power supply; According to the process purpose can be divided into melting furnace, heating furnace, heat treatment equipment and welding equipment; According to its structure form, transmission mode and so on can also be classified. The commonly used induction furnaces are customarily summarized as intentional induction melting furnace, centerless induction melting furnace, vacuum induction melting furnace, induction quenching equipment and induction head heating equipment, etc.
(1) folding inductive melting furnace
The core furnace is named after the core through the induction coil, and because the heat source is a metal groove around, it is also known as the groove furnace. The core furnace can be divided into two categories: slotted type and closed slotted type. The slotted type has been eliminated basically. The furnace has a series of advantages such as fast heating speed, high electric and thermal efficiency, high power factor, less metal burning, low melting cost, less equipment investment (1/2~1/3 of the centerless furnace), easy operation and so on. However, at the beginning of the use of the furnace to have melting, so the furnace and change the metal variety is difficult, so only suitable for a single variety and large quantities of metal continuous melting and insulation.
(2) Folding induction melting furnace
The name of the melting furnace is relative to the heart of the furnace, its liquid metal filled in a crucible, it is also known as crucible furnace. This type of furnace is mainly used for special steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metal and its alloy melting and insulation. The centerless furnace has many advantages, such as high melting temperature, less impurity pollution, uniform alloy composition and good working conditions. Compared with the core furnace, the centerless furnace is easier to start and change metal varieties, and the use is more flexible, but its electric and thermal efficiency is far lower than that of the core furnace. Because of the low surface temperature, the centerless furnace is not conducive to the smelting process requiring high temperature slagging.
(3) The melting furnace has high frequency, medium frequency and power frequency.
High frequency melting furnace
The capacity OF the high frequency furnace is generally less than 50 kg. It is suitable for smelting special steels and special alloys in the laboratory and small-scale production.
Intermediate frequency melting furnace
The capacity and power of intermediate frequency melting furnace are larger than that of high frequency furnace. It is mainly used for smelting special steel, magnetic alloy and copper alloy. Because this kind of furnace needs expensive frequency conversion equipment, so in some large capacity occasions has been changed to the frequency centerless furnace. However, compared with the power frequency furnace, the intermediate frequency furnace also has its unique features. For example, for the same capacity of the furnace, IF the input power of the furnace is larger than the power frequency furnace, so the melting speed is relatively fast, IF the furnace in the cold furnace melting does not need the furnace block, liquid metal can be all poured out, so the use of flexible than the power frequency furnace; In addition, IF melting furnace solution scour the crucible lighter, which is beneficial to furnace lining. Therefore, after the development of high power and cheap IF power supply, IF furnace is still promising.
Power frequency melting furnace
Power frequency melting furnace is the most recent and the most rapid development of several melting furnaces. Mainly used in cast iron and steel, especially high strength cast iron and alloy cast iron melting and cast iron solution heating, heat preservation and composition adjustment; In addition, it is also used for smelting of copper, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals and their alloys. If the furnace capacity is small and the power frequency is uneconomical, take cast iron as an example, the electric efficiency decreases significantly when the capacity is less than 750 kg.
(4) Folding vacuum induction melting furnace
Vacuum induction melting furnace is used to melt heat-resistant alloy, magnetic alloy, electrical alloy and high strength steel. The furnace is characterized by easy control of furnace temperature, vacuum degree and melting time in the smelting process, so the degassing of the charge can be very sufficient. In addition, the amount of alloy material can also be precisely controlled, so it is a more suitable furnace for melting heat resistant alloys and precision alloys containing active elements such as aluminum and titanium.
The induction melting furnace has the general advantages of electrometallurgy, such as easy to cause the necessary atmosphere, easy to adjust the temperature specification, reduce metal burning, ensure the quality of the casting, improve productivity and reduce labor intensity of workers, but also because of the electromagnetic stirring effect produced in the metal liquid, can ensure the uniformity of the alloy composition.
(5) Folding induction quenching equipment
Induction quenching equipment is mainly composed of power supply, quenching control equipment (including inductor) and quenching machine tool. Induction quenching method is one of the main surface quenching methods in modern machine manufacturing industry, which has a series of advantages such as good quality, fast speed, less oxidation, low cost, good working conditions and easy to realize mechanization and automation. According to the size of the workpiece and the depth of the hardening layer to determine the appropriate power and frequency (can be power frequency, IF and high frequency). The shape and size of the inductor mainly depend on the shape of the workpiece and the requirements of quenching process. The quenching machine is also varied with the size of the workpiece, shape and quenching process requirements. For the parts produced in batches, especially in the automatic production line, special machine tools are used. In general, small and medium factories, because the workpiece batch is large, the quantity is small, the use of universal quenching machine tool.
(6) Folding induction heating equipment
Induction heating equipment is mainly used for metal materials in forging, stamping, extrusion, rolling and other hot processing before heating, it makes the whole workpiece inside and outside the process requirements of temperature. This KIND of equipment is mainly composed of power supply (generally using medium frequency or power frequency), heating control equipment, induction heating furnace and loading and unloading mechanism. Induction heating has many advantages over other heating methods. First of all, because the heat is generated inside the heated material, the heating speed can be raised very high, and under the same heating time conditions, the radial temperature difference is relatively small, so the heated workpiece will not have significant deformation. Secondly, because of the fast heating speed, even in the atmosphere, the material surface oxidation and decarbonization is very little (such as billet forging heating, for example, with induction heating method, steel oxidation loss can be controlled below 0.05~0.5%, while with combustion furnace heating, oxidation loss generally reaches 2.5~3.0%). So induction heating furnace generally do not need gas protection. The main body of induction heating furnace is only a sensor, this kind of furnace does not need to have complex piping system as the combustion furnace, also does not need to have thick furnace wall as the combustion furnace, resistance furnace, so it can be very compact organization in the production line, and even combined in other processing machinery. In addition, during the working process, this electric furnace will not produce oil or harmful gases such as combustion furnace or protective gas resistance furnace, and there is no such large radiant heat around the furnace, so the working conditions are much better than other furnaces.
