The series Flotation Machine is mainly used for dressing below 0.5mm coal slime, as well as nonferrous metal, rare metal, black metal and nonmetal particle minerals.
The flotation machine is suitable for the separation of non-ferrous and ferrous metals, and can also be used for the separation of non-metals such as coal, fluorite and talc.
The flotation machine has the following features: large air intake and low power consumption.
Each slot has the triple functions of suction, slurry suction and flotation, forming its own flotation circuit without any auxiliary equipment. The configuration is horizontal, facilitating process changes.
The flotation machine adopts a "U" -shaped tank, hollow shaft aeration and suspended stator, especially a new type of impeller. This is a conical impeller with blades inclined backward at an Angle, similar to the impeller of a centrifugal pump with a high specific speed. It features a large slurry lifting capacity, a small head, low power consumption and a simple structure. A multi-hole cylindrical air distributor is also installed in the impeller cavity, enabling the air to be pre-evenly dispersed in most areas of the impeller blades and providing a larger slurry-air contact interface.
The working principle of the flotation machine
When the flotation machine is in operation, as the impeller rotates, the pulp in the tank is drawn from the periphery through the bottom of the tank from the lower end of the impeller to the space between the impeller blades. Meanwhile, the low-pressure air fed in by the blower also enters through the hollow shaft and the air distributor of the impeller. After the pulp and air are fully mixed between the blades, they are pushed obliquely upward from the periphery of the upper half of the impeller. After being stabilized and directed by the stator, they enter the entire trough. The bubbles rise to the foam stabilization zone. After the enrichment process, the foam overflows by gravity from the overflow weir and enters the foam trough. Another part of the pulp flows towards the lower part of the impeller. After being stirred by the impeller, it is re-mixed to form mineralized bubbles. The remaining pulp flows to the next tank until it eventually becomes tailings.
The use and maintenance of flotation machines
1.The working capacity and working time of the flotation machine, like those of other machines, are determined by maintenance and the main parts of all 3-4 months of normal operation have been carefully inspected. However, during the first few months of the operation of a new flotation machine, frequent inspections should be carried out.
2.Only skilled personnel can conduct the inspection.
3. To ensure that vulnerable parts are replaced in a timely manner and reduce downtime, we must always keep a complete set of parts in the warehouse. The usage date and reserve quantity of vulnerable parts should be determined based on different circumstances.
4. It is necessary to ensure that the operators of the flotation machine receive some technical guidance and training to make them fully familiar with the machine.
