Product Description

The Raymond mill, also known as the Raymond grinding mill or the suspension roller disc mill, is a highly efficient grinding equipment widely used in industries such as mining, building materials, chemical engineering, and metallurgy.

Scope of application

The Raymond mill is used for grinding more than 280 kinds of materials whose Mohs hardness is less than  9.3 such as barite, limestone, kaolin and slags, etc in the mining, metallurgical industry, chemical engineering and building material for high fine powder generation and processing. The product size is adjustable in the range of 80-325 mesh.

Working Principle of Raymond Mill

Material supply: Materials enter the center of the main machine through the feeding device and fall in the center of the rotating grinding ring.
Grinding process: Under the action of centrifugal force, the grinding roller tightly presses against the grinding ring, and the material is crushed into fine powder between the grinding roller and the grinding ring.
Air flow conveying: The air flow generated by the fan conveys the ground materials into the analyzer for sorting.
Finished product collection: Fine powder is separated from the airflow in the cyclone separator and collected as the finished product, while coarse powder is returned to the main unit for further grinding.
