ZTIC can produce cylinder diameter below 8m ball mills. The ball mill is mainly used for pulverizing ores and other materials, and widely used for ore dressing, building material, chemical industry and other industries.ZTIC manufacture a full range of Grinding Mills for the Mining Sector. Our largest mills has been delivered to SINO Site to date are Ø12.2m x 11m 28MW Gearless Drive AG Mills and Ø7.9m x 13.6m 2x8 MW Twin Pinion Drive Ball Mills. These mills are scheduled of start up on 2012.Our market share in China exceeds 80% with the largest mills supplied to date being a Ø7.9m x 13.6m 2x8.5MW Ball Mill and a Ø11m x 5.4m 2x8.5MW SAG Mill , being the largest in China.
ZTIC  is the key large enterprise for the design and manufacture equipments in China. The manufacture of grinding equipment begins from 1960s. Since 1980s,our company has cooperated with many famous foreign grinding manufactures on technology introduction ,cooperating manufacture and development. Mine Ball Mill Application:
A ball mill grinds ores and other materials to a typical product size of 35 mesh or finer.
The feed to a ball mill is prepared by...
· Single or multistage crushing and screening
· Crushing, screening, and/or rod milling
· Primary crushing and autogenous/semiautogenous grinding

Mine Ball Mill Normal feed sizes:
· 80% passing 1/4" (6 mm or finer) for hard ores
· 80% passing 1" (25 mm or finer) for softer ores
(Larger feed sizes can be tolerated depending
The length to diameter ratio of cylindrical mills range from 1 to 1 through 3 to 1. When the L/D ratio is 2 to 1 or greater, werefer to the mill as a Tube Mill.
The two most popular types of ball mills are
Grate or Diaphragm Discharge Ball Mill 
In the discharge end of this mill, a slotted full diameter or partial diameter grate with discharge lifter assembly conveys the material to the discharge trunnion opening. The grate serves to retain balls, tramp, and coarse material. A gradient created between the feed opening and the discharge slots eases the flow of material.
Trunnion Overflow Discharge Ball mill
A trunnion overflow mill has an open discharge end. Material flows through the trunnion as a result of the pulp gradient between the feed and discharge openings. A reverse helix in the discharge trunnion liner retains balls in the mill.
ZTIC Ball Mill Feature
1The cylindrical mill adopts the driving type edge-driving, center-driving, edge-driving with multi-point meshing, etc; driven by asynchronous motor +reducer +pinion and gear as well as synchronous motor +air l\clutch + pinion and gear.
2Generally supported by static-dynamic pressure bearing on both ends. Fuuly closed self-aligning 120º osculation rocker bearing is used. Also single or double slipper staic- dynamic bearings can be used. The bush is made by NC machine.
3 The large open gear is designed using AGMA standard, Equipped with reliably sealed gear housing and grease ahtomatic spraying lubrication system.The shell is key part of a mill. Carry out finite element analysis on it with computer to ensure the reliable operation;
4 The shell is automatically welded, ultrasonic inspected, wholly annealed and machined by large special machine tools on one chucking; there special seal on static-dynamic connection parts , ch as feed and discharge hoper, trunnion, etc, to prevent oil and slurry leakage;
5 The liner is of wear-resistance material mad by our company, wich has been specially heat-treated, with high hardness and long service life. Also other wear-resistance casting or rubber liner can be used;
6 There are slow speed drive for medium and large mill;
7The high and low pressure lubricating station is equipped for medium and large mill;
8The control and protection system is controlled by PLC.
